On 12^th of February 2014, MCD held a Project survey and assessment training session for its staff and Blue Lighthouse interns in Hanoi.

Participants were instructed overall about project logical framework, M&E indicators, analysis of quantitative data with SPSS software and beneficial households surveyed data.

The training session was organized in order to enhance the competence of MCD’s staff and Blue Lighthouse interns in terms of monitor and assess projects. Additionally, MCD collaborated with Asian Management and Development Institute to collect data and assess the effectiveness of the project “Building partnerships to enhance the climate change adaptation of coastal communities in Vietnam.

Collected information and data will be analyzed and used as the basis for mid – term report and project outcome report. Based on these reports, MCD will have an overview of deployment progress, achievements, as well as obstacles and shortcomings, so that, the organization will find out appropriate solutions to implement its projects effectively.

After the training, MCD will carry out field trips in Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, and Thai Binh provinces from 17^th to 21^st of February, 2014 to collect necessary data for assessment process.

Project MCD 46 “Building partnership to enhance the climate change adaptation of coastal communities in Vietnam” was implemented by MCD, associated with Oxfam and local partners in Red River Delta (Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Hai Phong provinces) and Cuu Long River Delta (Tien Giang, Tra Vinh province) from 2012 to 2014, with the supports from the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).
