Training of Marinelife conservation integrated to climate change adaptation management planning
Invited by Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD), from 17 – 19 December 2013, in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, the management of Cu Lao Cham marine conservation joined in the training course of marinelife conservation integrated to climate change adaptation management planning.
The training course over view
Also joining the training were the students from Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve, Hoi An, Bai Huong marine conservation co – management area and Ran Trao marine ecosystem conservation, as well as Nhon Hai coastal area. The purpose of the training is to enhance climate change perceptions in resource and environment management and to share and discuss information and technical guidance, marinelife conservation management plans for officials And groups of nuclear households. After 3 days training, participants were equipped with technical knowledge and a draft conservation management plan for the marine ecosystem, which integrated climate change adaptation at the local level was made . Participants also learned about practical skills, the DPSIR model, and SMART principles, and created a SWOT matrix for the construction management plan as well.
