MCD summarizes activities in the first 6 months of 2014.
On 03/09/2014, MCD organized the meeting of all the staffs, in order to summarize the activities result of the first 6 months in 2014, giving the management message and the main points that MCD has to achieve on the last 6 months of 2014. At the same time, the meeting also received the feedback, sharing from the staffs; aimed to enhancing the work efficient as well as strength understanding and promoting cultural and core values of MCD.
At the meeting, the board of directors of MCD has made the exchange, sharing the message that the Board of Directors would like to send to all officers about the meaning and expectation of the meeting, such as a general orientation for the last 6 months of 2014 and the information of work effectively within 6 months of the year and work performance towards the last 6 months associated with the preservation, promotion and conservation of culture and core values – the common property of the MCD.
MCD’s core values for each MCD officials are the dedication, enthusiasm for the community at the vulnerable coastal areas, innovation and transparency in the working process in order to change for adapting with new conditions and toward the professional. MCD officers are always aware the need of flexibility in the approach to partnerships, promoting the highest efficiency and value of relationship partners to serve for the support in the vulnerable coastal areas.
Moreover, MCD is a working environment that has professional training, developing career and building intimate relationships as members of a family, the MCD officers was always willing to help each other not only in works but also in daily life. These are the core values that Mrs. Nguyen Thu Hue – Director of MCD always wanted and set out toward the sustainable development for MCD organization.
“Why we talk about the core values and the organizational culture at the moment? Simply because more than ten years, many generations of MCD staffs has believed in common values, all of them desire to share with the next generation, in order to spread the flame of passion and inspiration, in order to keep MCD’s stories and journey time by time, towards a better future! “- Ms. Nguyen Thu Hue shared.
Also at the meeting, the MCD officers discussed in the groups for better understanding and promote the culture and core values of the MCD as well as more aware about their role in the process of working in MCD. MCD is a brand which has over 10 years in the field of marine conservation and community development. In order to get this brand, indispensable the contribution of mental responsibility, enthusiasm of the staffs, created these core values, culture and the own brand of MCD.
At the end of the meeting, the MCD officers had a meaningful meeting, exchanged, shared and had positive feedback towards enhancing work performance as well as enhancing the understanding, promotion the culture and core values of MCD. Through these results, promising in the last 6 months of 2014, the MCD will have new changes to promote core values, culture of MCD to support coastal communities to respond with climate change, reduce disaster risk.
