The signing ceremony of MoU on enhancing VNGOs’ competence and corporation
On December 2nd 2013, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the project of enhancing Vietnamese Nongovernmental Organizations’ (VNGOs) competences was signed between Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD) and Winrock International. The project will be conducted from December 2013 to September 2015
The MoU is the basis for the corporation between the two organizations in the field of enhancing VNGOs’ competence within the project “Vietnam Forests and Deltas Program”. On the basis of signed content, MCD and Winrock International are expected to plan mutual annual activities, formulate the detailed plan for each specific activity, in order to accomplish the project’s goal. In addition, through the corporation between MCD and Winrock International, the project will also provide MCD with tools and technical supports, in order to enhance MCD’s competence. MoU on December 2nd 2013 between the two organizations will be extended based on assessing implemented results in the first two years and orientation of the two organizations.
Winrock International is an American NGO working in the field of supporting and preserving natural resources and biodiversity. Winrock International is collaborating with Vietnam government and related partners in order to support and implement project “Vietnam forests and Deltas Program” which is sponsored by USA International Development Fund. The project will promote and apply government’s policies and national strategies relating to the climate change adaptation, enhancing adaptive ability of local communities, especially in rural and undeveloped areas
