The recruitment committee for Blue Lighthouse second recruitment announced a list of candidates passing round 1. Please, check the following link for more detailed information:

Round 2 – Debate round take place at 9a.m on October 24th, 2013

Address: Room 3001, Building 34T, Hoang Dao Thuy, Trung Hoa Nhan Chinh, Hanoi.

Notice:

All candidates must carefully read debate rules to fully understand content

Activities

Part 1: IntroductionThere will be 5 minutes for candidates to introduce themselves and become acquainted

Part 2: Task AssignmentTopics will be assigned and candidates divided into 2 groups

Each group of 10 people will be divided into 2 equal groups.

– Group A: agree (A1, A2,…A5)

– Group B: disagree (B1, B2,…B5)

One group will agree with given ideas, another group will disagree

Part 3: Group discussionGroups will have 30 minutes to complete the following tasks:

– Get acquainted

– Elect group leader

– Build ideas for the debate

– Determine the order of contestants in group

Debate:- Members of the groups present as explained in the attached debate diagram (Time: 4 minutes/person/group, including Q&A part)

– In first 3 minutes, if members of the opposing team want to ask questions, they may raise their hands. The person presenting has the right to choose only one question to listen to and answer or reject answering. The person who is selected must raise their question within 20 seconds.

Debate diagram:

A1: Presents the first idea of group A

B1: Presents the first idea of group B + answers a question (if any)

A2: Presents the second idea of group A + answers a question (if any) + support idea for A1 (if any)

(The other members do the same)

A5: Makes an overall conclusion + answers the question (if any)

B5: Makes an overall conclusion + answers the question (if any)
